A 22" 4lb. (weighed) wild brown trout caught in early May 2009!

A happy client with a 14" wild rainbow taken from the Lamoille River.

While the Hendrickson hatch was not exactly banner in central Vermont in 2008,
this 19" wild brown took a Hendrickson emerger in early May.

Flyfishing for big rainbows is part of what makes fishing in Vermont so special.
This rainbow took a nymph in the Winooski River.

I took this client to a tough wild trout stream after he warmed up on some stocked fish in the morning. He was up to the task, and landed this 18" wild rainbow trout on a drizzly day.

Flyfishing is a great sport to get kids involved in. Here, a client and his daughter learn the
ropes on the Winooski River.

This big brownie took a dry fly and put up quite a fight!

With the 2008 season being one of high water, I learned alot about fishing the Upper CT. when it's running high. Here is a 15" wild brown trout that took a stonefly nymph. Remember I am a certified NH Fishing Guide, so trips to the Upper CT. can be a great way to cool off during the heat of summer!

I know I've said it before, but big wild rainbows live in Vermont!
